BREAKING: Iran says the US has agreed to permanently hand over the Strait of Hormuz to Iran under their full sovereign authority, with Iran collecting tolls called "service fees" from all commercial ships after a 60-day waiver period. The opening is planned for Friday, after the signing, per Fars. With pre-war Hormuz traffic at 30,000 vessels and 7.6 billion barrels of oil per year, this could generate $10+ billion in annual revenue for Iran, and comes on top of the $300 billion in reconstruction funds directly sent to Iran. This also directly contradicts Trump's claim of a "toll free opening of the Strait of Hormuz" under no fees.

If the deal involves giving Iran billions of dollars, our best bet is to simply walk away. Providing such a massive sum will only end in catastrophe —not only will President Trump be accused of cutting a deal worse than Obama’s JCPOA, but the Iranians will undoubtedly use some of the money to fund their proxies. This would ultimately create a new justification for resuming the war, and round and round we go. A deal sounds nice in principle, but it’s not needed to end this: - Pull our troops out of the region and don’t give Iran access to billions. Deprive them of the ability to hit us and deprive them of the means to fund their proxies. - Iran will have a hard time interfering with shipping in the Strait of Hormuz (SOH) without a U.S. presence in the region as justification for their aggression. - At the same time, cut or at the very least reduce military aid to Israel to prevent them from striking Iran & hitting Lebanon. - Going forward, leverage the potential of sanctions relief as a tool to keep the Strait of Hormuz open and to secure assurances that Iran will not develop a nuclear weapon. A formal deal essentially guarantees we’ll have to maintain a presence in the region to enforce it. This cost alone is not worth our resources, neither blood nor treasure.

Blizzard claims that Project Ascension uses World of Warcraft content without permission and profits from it through donations and premium features. The company also accuses the server of bypassing Blizzard’s protections, violating U.S. copyright law. Project Ascension is known for major changes to the game, including a classless system and other custom features that have made it popular with players. Project Ascension has not yet had its day in court and will have a chance to respond, but we know how this will end.. The lawsuit is another example of Blizzard taking action against private World of Warcraft servers
