@derrickvanorden @SenateDems Love you Senior, but you and I both know that there’s one or two Republican Senators that could end all this nonsense today.

If I were a governor of a state with this airport mess, I would mobilize the National Guard to the edges of these crowds—visible presence.

This is insane from a risk standpoint. Post 9/11 security posture at an American airport pushes all the risk outside of the security checkpoints. - What could a lone wolf terrorist do? - What could a Mumbai-style attack do? - What could a Crocus City Hall-style attack do? The risk to American travelers has never been so high. Airports and law enforcement need to put a perimeter around this mess right now.

@TimOnPoint Correct! Wouldnt take much coordination from some of the 18k known terrorists in this country to walk in and blow themselves up.

@TimOnPoint @KurtSchlichter I’m honestly shocked that we haven’t seen anything “bad” happen in the security line area. It was the first thing I noticed walking through an airport post 9/11.

@TimOnPoint TSA chokepoints have objectively made airports less safe than they were before 9/11, without any increase in flight safety. These crowded checkpoints would be incredibly attractive targets.

I’m in a TSA Precheck line that goes all the way out to the parking garage in Philadelphia. Congress, what in the hell is wrong with you? In a new era of increasing terrorism, 25 years after 9/11, and you’re not funding DHS because you’re mad about illegal aliens being deported? Go F- yourselves, every single one of you. Not blaming TSA. They’re working their butts off this morning.

@TimOnPoint Maybe this is something we can get politicians together on? Or does this somehow fit into politics as well….. “if something happen under the Trump administration, it’s on him”.

I thought this was another good point you made in your drone article. Current security postures are essentially: what happens outside where we haven't screened is not our problem. Known vulnerability but not easy to exploit without major risk to bad guy. Drones invert this in some ways.
