trophy #3 with dongless dread dongs. not sure why or how but the deck feels really good. Gut shot really just there for OBM, Thrull is really well positioned, wouldnt run more than 3, but the dreadnoughts act as a solid finisher once youve established control

Its an emergent property of power creep. To engage in a bit of vulnerability posting, 'being good at legacy' used to be a not insignificant part of my identity. The realization that the genie is out of the bottle on this was a painful one. Legacy will never be like that anymore

For many years, legacy was a low variance, skill intense format that revolved around gaining incremental advantage over time. Now every deck is extremely low execution and either has a 2 card combo to win the game or fast mana plus a single card that wins the game.

I think Legacy ban discourse would go smoother if people framed their arguments around their feelings about the format instead of balance issues that aren’t there. That also means thinking additional layers deep with the effects their feelings have on the balance of the format.

Next week I'll travel to Berlin @CardmarketMagic to record the Best Deck Ever Legacy Series. My first choices will be Grixis Delver 2018, I have great memories playing this deck at Hareruya Store in Tokyo for a week while my friends were doing touristic stuff! 🤣 #MTGLegacy

@itsJulian23 @DragonShield_ Dragonshiled matte art, work best for me. Had the same struggle. Seem more durable and a bit bigger, so you do not have to fumble the cards into the sleeve.

Kinda disappointed with the @DragonShield_ sleeves I got. Heard a lot of good about the current version, but they very (!) quickly got distinct marks on the side. It looks worse than the picture shows. Is it bc of Perfect Hards? 🤔
