Officials at the U.S. Military Academy should not be feeding lies to left-wing reporters about President Trump’s nominees. West Point needs to thoroughly investigate this egregiously bad judgement and potential violation of the Privacy Act immediately.

West Point public affairs lied to ProPublica, wrongly said Pete Hegseth never even applied to the academy.
Hegseth responded with a copy of his 1999 West Point acceptance letter, killing ProPublica's story.

Hegseth has said that he got into West Point but didn’t attend. We asked West Pt public affairs, which told us twice on the record that he hadn’t even applied there. We reached out. Hegseth's spox gave us his acceptance letter. We didn't publish a story. That's journalism.

Senator Joni Ernst (R) voted to confirm Lloyd Austin for Secretary of Defense who turned our military into a woke laughingstock but is refusing to say if she will confirm Pete Hegseth.

I’m beginning to hear serious rumblings that the big problem in Joni Ernst’s office is not Ernst, but her chief of staff Lisa Goeas.
A former lobbyist and non-Iowan, Goeas is apparently behind the bulk of Ernst’s string of terrible decisions of late, including the George Floyd nonsense, transgender military insanity, Lloyd Austin/Merrick Garland support, and the anti-Hegseth jihad that now has the potential to end Ernst’s political career in Iowa.
Goeas, who is married to pollster Ed Goeas, was recently celebrated as a major Washington “power player” by Politico and was photographed at Mar-a-Lago living it up with Trump and Elon Musk before deciding to go to war against Pete Hegseth, Trump’s nominee to run the Pentagon.
Many close to President Trump are deeply suspicious that Ernst can be trusted on initiatives like DOGE give Ernst’s and Goeas’s behind-the-scenes efforts to knife Hegseth.
