Most people are competing for the wrong prize entirely. "The Coca-Cola has yet to be built. And those are the companies that are really going to monetize it." Think about what that means. Today is the first day on this earth without my mother. It doesn’t feel real. Everything is on pause. She fought lung cancer. It started in her lungs, spread to her lymph nodes, and the pain was brutal. We caught it too late after the pneumonia hit in February chemo was never an option. These last months were pure hell. We did everything we could, but watching her suffer destroyed me. I’m glad she’s not in pain anymore. But God damn… I wish I could call her one more time. So if you’re reading this — CALL YOUR MOTHER TODAY. Right now. Text her. Tell her you love her. I’d give anything for that chance. I’m not posting this for pity or prayers. (Religion’s not for me — I don’t believe she’s in a “better place.” The best place was right here with me, my siblings, and her grandkids.) That’s why my content’s been slow.
