@dieworkwear Banana Republic has been selling sweaters that they tout as being recycled Italian yarn. Any insights on quality and/or sustainability of these? Bought one that I’ve enjoyed wearing.

A lot of what I've read about sweater quality here conflates "characteristic" with "quality." For example, dimensions such as thickness are mistaken for quality. This is like saying green apples are inherently better than red apples (or vice versa, if you prefer). 🧵

@mollyfleck It’s a pain but I’ve found that parking in Lot F with my own car and my own car seats was close enough to the cost of ride-hailing that it made the most sense (plus, not worrying about rando drivers). It was sooooo much easier when I lived next to the (then-reliable) Blue.

Why are there no cabs/Ubers with car seats? My options for going to the airport are: 1) pay $230 one way for a car service w/car seat 2) pay $200+ to park at the airport while I'm on my trip 3) bring a car seat on vacation that I only need for the trip to/from the airport
