SP College campus Srinagar was once known for its greenery & natural landscape with massive trees 🌲 around. But in last 10 to 15 years it has been defaced - Sometimes Exhibitions are held , sometimes vehicles are parked in this ground and sometimes some other event. Tree Cover also reduced with Concrete structures around ? This needs a probe. Shall we have to seek NGTs intervention for this as well ? I have zero respect for Haseeb Drabu’s politics — I find them fundamentally flawed and damaging. But let’s be brutally honest: the man never got a fair shot to finish his job as JK Bank Chairman or as Finance Minister. He was cut short, discarded like so many others by this rotten, vindictive political system that buries talent the moment it smells independence. Drabu should be back in public life right now. Not as charity, but because Kashmir cannot afford to waste sharp, intellectually grounded minds just because they don’t fit the current tribe. We stand on opposite sides — and I’ll oppose his ideas fiercely when needed — but burying capable people out of political vendetta and insecurity is exactly why we remain stuck. Talent this deep doesn’t grow on trees. Use it, or keep paying the price for mediocrity.
