Ha! I’ve just been refused entry onto a plane from Stansted to Bologna because my passport issue date is March 2016. The expiry date is August 2026 but the rule is 10 years from issue date. Another Brexit benefit. Apparently. Go home now.

Just realised that this summer I’ve been on Safari and then on to Mauritius. All I need now is to get on a rowing boat to an island in a lake in the UK countryside and I will have completed SATS Reading paper 2016! There was however, no milling about in bewilderment at any point

I just deleted my post about how many sober days I had under my belt. The last time I did that, some woman said, "Come back when you've done 3 years." I shouldn't let people like that bother me, but it did hurt my feelings a bit. So, yeah. For anyone who cares, it's 48 days.

A year ago I handed my notice as an AHT. The plan was to leave the teaching profession… A year later… nearly completed my 25th year and never been happier. I have grown, developed and flourished. Sometimes you just have to be brave and take a risk 🩷 #teaching #impact
