Dakle, problem nije nastao zbog Miloševića, niti bi nestao da je vodio "mekšu“ politiku. Čak i da je Kosovo u vreme Miloševića bilo ekonomski raj( putevi, fabrike, med i mleko), ishod bi se samo odložio, ali ne i promenio.Jer kada se sudare nacionalni projekti i ekonomski interesi, nacionalni projekti pojedu ekonomske interese za doručak. Dakle, Albanci su želeli državu. NATO je to iskoristio. A ostalo su samo opravdavanja onoga što je usledilo.
