@kumametaldesu @Skanker @mitsurugi137 It was pretty bad for OCE players, servers were located in Canada so we had unreal ping. Still doable though, just not fun.

@LostJoestarr @Warcraft People rage quitting raids after one wipe has been a thing for as long as time.

@Warcraft I just returned from from the Legion expansion and everything has been a downgrade. Look rolls giving duplicate items, new transmog system is bugged from login screen to switching specs, and the pugging any raid is a joke. People wipe once and quit. It wasn’t like this before.

@Saturday_Anime Once they transferred to Square Enix Accounts you could just log back in whenever you wanted and didn't need to worry about account deletion.

A few years ago I did make an attempt at playing Final Fantasy 11 again, but Square had deleted all my serial numbers for the game in their system. Which means I'd have to buy the game again. Pardon me -my parents bought the game, now I'd have to buy it 20+ years later.

Final Fantasy XI is closing the Odin server to new players starting due to severe overpopulation Odin is the third server to close due to this, Asura and Bahamut remain closed as well.

@ShitpostRock They remove the barriers of "old" pokemon while releasing new evolution mechanics every gen for new ones, seems fine to me? I will admit that Sword/Shield had better gimmick evolutions than S/V though. Getting Sirfetch'd was fun and ended up being one of my new favourites.

@MadamSavvy They haven't reversed much to OW1, honestly it's a completely different game but people who actually play would know that. Some systems returned heavily modified (lootboxes) but that's about it? New systems like perks, map select, pick ban, stadium are all brand new improve OW.

They have reversed most changes from overwatch2 to ow1, have had steady decline for years, and their last hail mary that was positively received had its social movement slashed by their own employees. But it wont really matter because i think the numbers will be ok for about a week or 2 then slide. Idk what can truly save overwatch but i know they will have to rebalance everyone and it wont feel as good. And if they change Anran, i think that will be a lose lose situation. This is why you dont hire activists. The “problem” would have just gone away. I polled people every game i played and most didnt know there was even an issue and the people playing her like her as is. So idk. We will see. Their peak though is marvel rival’s low. So…..that still doesnt bode well for them. Anyway, it is funny watching “those people” defend the misogyny company that is bad to their employees every time “chuds” complain. They will lambast blizzard and OW. For zionism, sexism, poor employee treatment then turn around and try to convince you its the best thing ever.

Development of ElvUI for Midnight is now officially on hold. We would need to see major changes from Blizzard very soon to be able to actually provide the UI replacement our users want.
