UPDATE: We're working on two fixes for this issue. There are no plans for a rollback. For the first fix, deploying within the next 24 hours, we’re building a server-side update that will disable all crafted weapons from being equipped. Players will still be able to craft weapons during this time. The second fix we’re building, which we hope to release soon after the first, will allow crafted weapons to be re-equipped but the outlier crafted weapons with “illegal” components will be reset to a default state.

@boomer_btc @VivekGRamaswamy Many know that the ability for the masses to vote themselves gifts is the biggest risk to democracy. It’s reasonable to talk about solutions . But currently we are seeing the political class to be the ones abusing the republic the most.

My wife is a naturalized citizen. She took her oath about 5 years ago. Her knowledge of the US system of government, the constitution, the law, and US history is easily in the 90th percentile. That is not so much a compliment to her (although she is a very bright woman), it is an expression of dismay at the education system and at the lack of motivation by so many to understand their country. The majority of younger citizens have abysmal knowledge but it is not limited to just them. They therefore don’t have the tools to make educated decisions - especially about the future of our country. I’m fine with 18 year olds that have taken their civic responsibility seriously and can pass a test. Otherwise at least waiting until they’ve had to live some life as an adult to gain perspective would help - 25 is reasonable.

We’re not a direct democracy. We are a *constitutional republic.* We need to revive civic duty among young Americans. That’s why I’m for a constitutional amendment to raise the voting age from 18 to 25, but to still allow 18-year-olds to vote if they either pass the same civics test required of immigrants to become naturalized citizens, or else to perform 6 months of military or first responder service. We must be ambitious.
