Government services are getting from bad to worse! My wife applied for her driving license renewal via the online portal of Delhi government (sarathi.parivahan.gov.in) on 27th Jan 2026 with all required documents & applicable fees, vide Application No. 377470526. Scrutiny of documents was completed on 28th Jan 2026, and all documents were found ok. And that is it! Since almost 2 months now, the application is still in processing stage. It is just not moving while the license is about to expire now. I also raised a grievance in the tool but, as expected, there is no response to the grievance as well for more than a week. What are the options in front of us now? Should we let the license expire and apply for a new one? What happens to the online fees that we paid? Seems there is no physical window where we can check the status since this was an online application. @BaluGorade Using 11pro max. No problems at all. It outlasts my Xiaomi 13 pro which is the latest of the two. Xiaomi I used to get 6 hours SOT. Now it's 4 to 5 hours only especially after updating it recently to Android 16.

After 2-3 years, Android phones often face battery drain and camera drop. Does the same happen with iPhone?

I wonder why Zomato and Swiggy charge a platform fee. There are also platforms like Flipkart, Ola, and Uber that provide delivery and other services, but they don’t charge a separate platform fee. They only charge consumers for the actual service.

Kokapet: Booming Real Estate, Struggling Bars Tasca Bar & Kitchen in Kokapet has shut down. Kokapet is growing fast with heavy real estate and construction. But bars and restaurants are struggling. All four bars we had when we moved in are now closed: 1. Atom Bar & Kitchen 2. 75 Degree West (later Ulavacharu, now Ahwana) 3. Simharpuri Bar & Kitchen 4. Tasca New places like Mythus, Jamming Goat, Rabbit Hole, Cu2, and Taki opened. But overall, it looks tough. If you add restaurants, the list goes much bigger like UTK, Dasara, Kortyard Cafe, Pousada, Kanteen, Desi chowrastaa etc. F&B business seems just too risky in Kokapet now.

Stopped at this restaurant on the Hyd-Bangalore highway near Kurnool....Farm side dining, well thought out architecture, and a very aesthetic setup !! What we tried Sila special kodi pulav👌🏻 Omelette pulusu with ghee rice👎🏻 Mango smoothie🆗 Average food, smaller portions, and also on the expensive side !! Feels more like style over substance. No proper service from Daikin. My AC is still not working since 6 months and both @RelianceDigital and @DaikinIndia are playing ping pong. Daikin is saying that reliance will fix the AC and Reliance is saying that Daikin would resolve the issue..
