He had claimed he accidentally hit her with his van then panicked and strangled her. Prosecutors say that story was a lie. He actually planned the abduction and killing. The case now moves to the punishment phase. Jurors will decide between death penalty or life without parole. Athena's family has waited over 3 years for justice. DEATH PENALTY.

If you want my 5 cents:
I don't think much will change.
The new trade tools by GGG have mostly made TFT obsolete outside of standard mirror deals and maybe some services.
I expect a new TFT-ish server to pop up soon, but if it will be run by the same people, I expect the same issues.
This is more of a historic artefact and a conclusion of a long story.
Despite all the issues, I think a community with nearly a million people is something to remember.

Would be very on brand for Nate Oats to fly out a suspected drug dealer to play in a game. This is a guy who is completely devoid of ethics. Remember he didn’t suspend a guy a second who provided another player with a weapon that resulted in the death of a pregnant woman.
