@Dansgaming Make it so you have to push a button to use a key to unlock a door instead of it just automatically using keys is what I want. I've wasted so many keys on accident...

Crafting in Crimson Desert could use a quality of life pass. Things like queuing multiple meals, being able to unsocket and socket in the same menu, less frequent animations, etc. would be so nice. Crafting from camp storage would also make me cry tears of joy.

@Rrezzolution @Grummz There is main character Kliff for story quests, and you can customize his gear and hair. You unlock the woman and orc as playable side characters, also with customizable hair and gear. They can’t be used in main story quests.

@SpawnYaardReply Got him on 1. Gear upgrades are HUGE in this game and I feel like people struggling on story bosses aren't keeping up.

Game journalists are still complaining that Crimson Desert is too hard, and it needs a "difficulty slider". The game is designed to be played as is, and it's up to the player to adjust the difficulty of the game with the use of consumables, resurrection items, and upgrades. Don't have great reflexes? Then farm up a ton of consumables and spam them during the fight to make it easier, and upgrade weapons and gear. Too many people are used to games with so many difficulty settings where it's just a faceroll at the lowest difficulty, also known as "journalist mode", which allows journalists to beat the game. In the 90's, and many games of the 2000's did not have difficulty sliders, and were designed to be experienced as is.

Despite its narrative not being Crimson Desert’s biggest strength, I’m pretty invested in the Reed Devil’s storyline ngl. He’s a very interesting villain with an intriguing set up, I’m looking forward to see how his story progresses 🤔

@Grummz 20hrs in, just beat reed devil. i have to be honest, some of these "exploration" is bit exaggerated. most of the landscape travelling is full of small camps in-between with trees/grass lands and rocks and grasshoppers.

I've read so many Crimson Desert reviews and youtube "I don't like this game" reactions that clearly only played the first 3 hours. Very few made it to 7 hours (which lands you in camp if you beeline the main story). All the early negative reviews were BS. They are the true tourist grifters. You can not like the game, it has problems, but this is their job and they didn't do it.

To figure out a treasure nearby, look for stacked rocks and then thrust attack , R1 + triangle to get in
