Can someone explain the FUD around WordPress storing AI API keys to me? How is this different than storing Stripe or other API keys? Genuine question.

This reminds me of when @iPullRank broke the research that GoogleBot uses a headless browser. Not surprising Mike's going to be the first to getting people to think of AI bots this way. Related: all that code you're proud of that you've got an LLM to help you with? They've now got all your novel solutions, too...it's quite the conundrum.

@HenRichBcnHh @hellemans Let's say you have a page about a car. It's a ProductPage. It has an FAQ section. Do you want to double type [ProductPage,FAQPage], or do you want to say "this ProductPage has a FAQSection". I think the latter is much much better.

@felixarntz @jdevalk @impeccable_ai @pbakaus Here is another example. I just saw this on a live site and I can tell without a doubt that this was designed by Claude. There are multiple tells. And that tends to be the case. It's not that there is one tell, there are literally 3 or 4 tells in this single UI element.

Vol. XV: the 15th version of my blog since June 2004 (following pretty quickly after the previous one). I got rid of the AI-generated post images, picked Klim's Domaine and Pitch fonts to do the work instead, and built proper plumbing for longer writing. joost.blog/vol-xv/

@metapreston I agree. I’d add: too long, hard for English speakers to say Cluh and Fluh next to each other so becomes Cloudfare, multiple ways to spell flare/flair. But better than our original name which was Project Web Wall — which was Barbara Walter’s nightmare.
