@barkmeta After fees and shipping you’re at a loss, unless you sell locally and have the customer collect in person, but still not worth the time, you can make more door-dashing lmao

I have been eating nothing but McDonald's Happy Meals for 6 months straight. Yes, you read that correctly. Here's the math: Right now every McDonald's Happy Meal comes with a pack of McDonald's Pokemon cards. These are special promo cards you can only get inside a Happy Meal. A Happy Meal costs $5.99. The sealed McDonald's Pokemon card pack inside sells on eBay for $6.49. I buy the Happy Meal. I eat the food. I sell the cards. I make $0.50 and eat for free. I do this 15 times a day. I have not paid for food in 6 months. I make $7.50 a day for eating McDonald's. People can laugh but this is the greatest financial arbitrage on earth right now.

How much market cap should a company that makes a profitable medium lift fully reusable rocket be worth? With cadence. I’ll start with $75b-$100b. Can anyone tell me a company on the precipice of this?

Fan doesn’t change your house air pressure (just mixes air in your house) but lots of things naturally do. Outside pressure changes throughout the day. Temp change in your house changes the pressure, just normal diffusion and natural convection… Typically house does a full air exchange every 2 hours. But I mean if you’ve got data on your house I can’t argue w/ that.

@karkwonk @levelsio That’s not what I see in my home. And it’s very average typical construction. For a leak to make any noticeable difference there has to be pressure differential. You’ll need to have a fan running. Or a very windy day.

AC does not bring in outside air It just rotates existing air in your house and cools or heats it

So a few things: only until recently European homes didn't have AC installed, not just no HVAC, barely any AC at all Even now it's very low, about 20% of European homes have AC Our house has AC in every room though, but just to cool, they do nothing for air treatment like removing CO2, setting humidity right, getting in fresh air, etc But no HVAC, no air tubes, no central air, etc, I haven't see any European house that has that, best we have is an air vent in bathrooms that goes to the roof to get humidity out a bit Of course Europeans just open the window, which is great, I live near the ocean, but at night there's noise sadly, barking dogs, garbage trucks at 6am, it goes through ear plugs, I'm not complaining but an HVAC system would fix the CO2 and get fresh air in without the noise And sure in office buildings in Europe but not homes, we don't have air treatment like HVAC, no ducts, nothing!

@KKrabie @levelsio Depends on a lot of factors of course. Is your house free standing or connected on floor/ceiling/walls to other homes, how many windows, how well sealed are the doors and attic, is a lot of that square footage a basement...

@KKrabie @levelsio It's not unless you have a very above average sealed house. Houses leak outsider air quite a lot With 2000 sqft and all the internal doors open you should be getting equilibrium <1000 even with infinite time

@cunha_tristan @levelsio Yeah this is the answer. Can open the windows before going to sleep to "reset" the house to near 450. Then open bedroom door a bit to make the bedroom stay the same as the rest of the house (this has the ~same effect as running AC). It will still rise overnight, but way less

@levelsio Do you have a door to the bedroom you can keep open, even just a bit? There used to be more vents over doors, to help with heating evenly, and sometimes modern houses will install then too.

CO is not CO2! Very different and unrelated You breathe in fresh air that's 21% oxygen and 0.04% CO2 Then you breathe out 16% oxygen and 5% CO2 So without outside air your room fills up with CO2 just from you breathing You know how when you put your head under the cover you slowly run out of air? That's exactly it! Almost everywhere outside is about 400ppm CO2, which is fresh air, most rooms inside I have encountered are 1000-3000! Very bad Then if you open the window wide within 15min you can get it down to 600ppm CO2 which is good What does CO2 over 1000 get you? Your IQ literally drops, your thinking decreases, you feel kinda drunk, foggy, tired etc. you're literally choking cause there's no fresh air How to fix? Open a window but then the issue with that is that outside is louder than ever. So the real fix is building a system in your house that brings in fresh air from outside (aka HVAC)

@scopecr33p @Antmage @TheFizzyMind @levelsio Nice! Do you see if it makes a difference inside the cities or in rural area? Maybe also because Australian cities are so sea-bound with huge &open seas in front of their door. I only found a CO map: I see your stake is too juicy and the wine too sweet.. Meanwhile us others: 😷

I still haven't solved the CO2 bedroom challenge You open the window and you wake up from a 6am garbage truck or barking dogs and sunlight You close it, you suffocate in 1200 ppl at 5am I guess you really need some mini tube in your wall with a vent that opens and closed based on internal CO2 but how do I build that?

@levelsio You can fix this by running the fan all night like a brute, or just leave the door between your bedroom and the rest of your house cracked open. Both will work ~completely

@spiderking232 Also, very importantly, the implication is that bad things will happen if no one joins the posse or does anything about the thugs. That is not the case in the red/blue question

Unlike all of the different wordings of the Button Dillemma, this actually IS a totally different scenario. We would know how many people are in the Posse already, and how many more are needed. This isn't a gamble. You know for a fact what other people choose.
West of Lourdes | VT@west_of_lourdes

An actual analogy for the button question: the High Noon Dilemma The sheriff is rounding a posse to kick out a gang of thugs. The thugs will kill the sheriff and everyone in the posse unless 30% of the men in town join the posse, in which case they leave. Do you join the posse?

You are asked a hypothetical question that reveals your moral character. Pushing red button announces to the world that you are cowardly. Pushing blue shows you are heroic. There are no other consequences because it is a hypothetical. You can just lie. It’s a hypothetical.
