Yeah, makes sense. My best work with it to date, is for a client project that is not released yet. Though Im hosting an event next week so I'll build up the repo for that and will share then. But if you set it up well, it can really shine, and I've only just learned how to do so.

I still can’t believe this is real. I’m a trained filmmaker. Former film producer. I’ve spent thousands of hours in editing bays cutting footage frame by frame. This weekend I’m creating a video for one of the biggest brands in the world. Here’s my setup: Claude Code on the left. @descript in the middle (for editing). @Remotion on the right (to preview/edit the motion graphics we create with CC) I have all my scenes and templates built out referencing a central brand style guide (about 15 of them that CC also created for me) When I need a new motion graphic, I copy the script section from Descript into Claude Code and get it back in 2 minutes, ready to drop into the timeline. The background music? Built with a Python library a member in the Claude Code Community made. I type what I need, it generates the track. Sound design and voice effects? @elevenlabs handles it, whatever the scene needs. I spent years learning After Effects, Premiere, Final Cut. I went to school for this. And now the most efficient production workflow I’ve ever used is a code editor, a couple APIs, Descript and a programmatic video tool. This isn’t replacing filmmaking. It’s what filmmaking looks like now. If you’re a creator or a marketer still doing everything manually, this workflow will change how you think about video production. While I think this is a miss for Horizon as a game. I will say the artwork, animation, and storytelling is fantastic in this. The movement and compositing is fantastic.

I feel like this is so so very far away from The original Horizon... Maybe it's fun? But, it's not Horizon. I remember it coming out and being enamored, the world felt slow and alive. This feels like information overload and watered down enemies.

Honestly I’ve given iOS 26 a good long shot. I get tripped up all the time by random odd issues that shouldn’t exist. The keyboard was REALLY messed up. Especially the long press spacebar cursor where you can highlight text. It just.. selects everything

Last month my intern asked for help with a Kubernetes error. He was stuck on a YAML file. He looked desperate. I make $275,000 a year. I haven't written a line of code since 2017. I don't even know what a "pod" is. But I didn't tell him that. I leaned back in my Herman Miller chair. I said, "Stop trying to code. Start prompting." I told him to paste the error into ChatGPT. He did. The AI told him to delete the cluster. He did. Production went down instantly. The CEO called me screaming. I didn't panic. I told the CEO we were "testing our disaster recovery protocols." He was impressed by my foresight. I got a bonus. The intern got fired. Innovation requires sacrifice. Just not mine.

@cgpov Friday I built a VERY simple app to open a CSV, edit, and save. Before I was using Apple Numbers and had to export changes. (Used WarpCode) I love building my own toolkit to help speed me up.

Used Cursor to create some automation tools in Windows 11. One that auto organizes my downloads and another that organizes my test renders. 🤓 Took way less time than using Windows Power Automate too.
