The last human YouTuber tried to compete by actually going outside. They got 12 views.

Flying first class on my flight out of NYC. Everyone in the front is solo, quiet, and isolated. I looked back to the rest of the plane. People are joyously traveling with friends and family. Sharing humor and adventure. Was just a very interesting observation.

@mshapiro Legal service jobs are up YoY at a healthy 2.8% growth. Computer systems design and related services down 2.7% but it's not clear this is from AI. It's what people are SAYING, but if you look at the massive over-hiring from post COVID boom, it's more like a return to normal.

@levelsio That old guy checking in again... Be very careful about "that guy did well for a while". In the Dotcom days, Warren Buffett was considered "out of touch" by some. Then QQQ dropped 90%. Equities good, valuation important. Leverage very, very bad.

Had to install Windows XP (with an emulator app for MacOS called UTM) so I could install Ulead Cool 3D to generate a 3D .GIF for pieter dot com First create an .ISO of the Ulead Cool 3D install, because Windows XP on UTM networking is broken Then after making the .GIF I had to build a HTTP-only file upload page because XP doesn't support modern HTTPS, to get the file out to R2 But it works :D

We didn't coordinate outfits but ended up chatting with an alum in airport. He said his 11 year old already wants to go to there. In my house mom is a Cal Bear not a BIG Red bear and if they can get in there that's not a bad way for CA to feel less like you're being bent over.

@elonmusk Respectively, I vehemently disagree. Animals, including humans can be insanely violent for a variety of reasons. Religion, Fear, Scarcity of Resources ... In fact, indiscriminate labeling can be a trigger. We need to be mindful with the words we use, especially at scale.
