Daily Mass after confirmation continues in Savannah today for the 7:30am cathedral Mass. Beautiful doesn’t adequately describe this Church. So it fits Savanah well.

My sons and I made a surprise trip to Pittsburgh to see grandfather, 93-year-old Army veteran, Frank Palombi, this Easter weekend. He spoke at Carnegie Library about his military service. So proud of him and grateful for this special moment together. Family first.

We missed having our girls with us, but they had an early flight to DC for the White House Easter Egg Hunt!

I’m not sure how one normally prepares to be baptized. But I’m spending my day playing candy land with my three beautiful children, making up silly parody songs to make them laugh, listening to devotional music, and really just sitting in my life and witnessing how good God has already been to me. Tonight, I will officially become a member of the holy and apostolic Catholic Church. I will be baptized and confirmed. I will receive the Eucharist, and I will be a part of a body of people going back two thousand years who bear witness to God’s grace. I am already blessed beyond what I ever thought I would be. God is good.

@daveweigel Nothing says “fairness” like a coordinated rally, identical signs, and a politician claiming he had no choice. Redistricting is always about power, not inevitability. If this amendment is so fair, spell out who gains and who loses instead of pretending this just happened to you.
