To me, #PlagueTaleRequiem has one of the best artistic visuals (and technology) in video games. All hand crafted by a team of amazing artists.

@oderiviere Thank you. Sometimes we need to be more firm with people who doesn't know how to behave in society. Streets Of Rage 4 for an instance is one of the best beat em ups with an AMAZING soundtrack . This guy can find a good game even it was hitting him in the nuts.

One more thing to add to an imposter syndrome trigger. @oderiviere is still in discussions about the forefront of interactive scoring for me and it has nothing to do with the popularity of the games. The work speaks for itself.

@pwlot I agree with you but it's a matter of perspective. I feel very lucky to have been working on my games but none got the attention that the big hits get. I don't really care but one of my best work is on South Of Midnight and very few people heard of it, even less played it.

@Marcodmeatball Definitely. That's why I don't understand people saying "I want to become a composer." You are already are. Being a composer don't equals making money out of your art. Now, "I want to have a career in games, movies, ads. theatre..." is a very different perspective.

@oderiviere I think people forget that being a working musician is an immense privilege sometimes. Being able to "make the doughnuts" with music is an insane gift.

@headspaceastro2 Most people don't know what games I've made music for. #1 reason they haven't played most. #2 they don't look up who made the music. I wish more people would have played some of my games but I don't mind if they know my name or not.

@oderiviere I still love your music for Remember Me, the music was one of the best parts of the game, along with the parisian cyberpunk atmosphere. And I wouldn't call Streets of Rage 4 "mediocre". Probably one of the best beat'em ups of all time.

@oderiviere Even IF the game is mediocre, you can not say that your music did its best to raise the level of quality when it comes to enjoyment of this piece of art.

@MBulteau That and to be completely honest, people get interested, attached to music not because of its inner qualities (if any) but because of the association with a hit game and the emotional attachment that came with it. It's NEVER about the music, it's ALWAYS about the game.

@DannyPaquette C'est pas de mega hits tels ceux qu'on peut imaginer. Mais bon, Aphex Twin n'a pas autant d'ecoutes que Taylor Swift. On ne peut pas forcer les gouts et les succes, mais on peut cohabiter.
