#HenleyRoyalRegatta have just announced that the @ScottishRowing championships will be used in assessing entries for pre-qualification for the 2026 Royal regatta. Great news for clubs, schools and Unis in Scotland and Northern England

@harm00sh @TNLUK What a mess! Same problem on their app. Why don't they leave things alone? When they make it user-unfriendly it will discourage entry.

How did the @TNLUK manage to make such an awful website update? Tickets don't show in order of draw date. No way to sort them. The filters are broken. Absolute shambles.

@hmfsmith @SnailTideway IANAL so can't comment on the legal technicalities but from personal experience it isn't easy to unpick agreements/contracts/discussions done from personal accounts. Both the individual and club/competition have potential liabilities from doing so.

@hmfsmith @SnailTideway I'm sure the service is GDPR compliant (Google/MS pay a lot of lawyers to ensure that) but is that the case for you and your club? Who controls the data in a personal account? What happens when club/officer/coach parts company?

@david_biddulph I was wondering if being a bit further south might spare Pairs Head. Sadly not it seems.

Sad news from Pairs Head, but not a surprise.

This historic Baths Bridge in Durham City, has been allocated significant funding from the North East Combined Authority, allowing us to replace the bridge, built in 1898, with a new structure, in keeping with the history and heritage of the city, and protect the crossing for years to come. Ok, so now that @HenleyRegatta is over, who was your “crew of the regatta”? For me it’s between Twellaar in the Diamonds breaking a 36 year-old course record, and Wycliffe in the DJ for simply how dominant they are and how beautifully they sculled. #HRR25
