@AflGlicko @MatterOfStats @thecruncherau Win Prob added just in time for a nail-biting finish

@random_effects @MatterOfStats @thecruncherau Win% graph would be a nice feature to add also, this is an exceptional live data feed however.
English

@MatterOfStats It should pop up in the LIVE bar once it gets over 1% in a game though , hopefully get to test that next game

@mattyglesias You should tell it to turn the directory into an R package and then you can just call
library(slowboring)
when you want to use any of these functions rather than having to do
source(correct-filename-in-the-right-directory.R)
At the start of every script

@RFishBlueFish @lkbm @AndyMasley From what I’ve read it seems like Waymo is accounting for routes driven but Tesla isn’t (unless they’ve changed this recently)
English

@lkbm @AndyMasley Right, which is not what I believe is usually being done. Like the usual number is “accidents per mile”
English

It seems very possible that AVs might effectively never cause accidents. They just need to be as good as the top quintile of drivers. Might be a way to go still, I don't know, but "top 5th of humans at driving" doesn't seem impossible. nhtsa.gov/sites/nhtsa.go…

If you draw a line through here in Sydney, there are 2.6 or so million people living on the left side and 2.6 million living on the right side.

I have sliced $20 billion off the cost of Sydney to Newcastle High Speed Rail. Where do I send the invoice? @fictillius

Think about how many USAID programs this administration cruelly canceled, which cost peanuts, and then harmed thousands of poor kids abroad, only to allow its officials to spend taxpayer money on stuff like this:

Kash Patel scrambled a government jet to watch his girlfriend sing at a wrestling bout this weekend. independent.co.uk/news/world/ame…

@SydneyYIMBY Been a bunch of comments against this unfortunately - people can feel free to leave their own comments to the council here

@TheBackPocketAU @EmlynBreese @Hoyney35 Forwards scoring over 80 goals and finishing outside the top 40 players has gotta be close
English

@EmlynBreese @Hoyney35 It’s truly the most broken aspect of the player ratings system.
English

Would love if @Hoyney35 treated Xerri not being in the AA squad as an opportunity for a real hard look at whether the current player ratings work for rucks (they don't).
PRs have his 2025 as the 40th best individual season of anyone from 2012 onwards which is plainly silly
English

@crow_data_sigh @jamesday87 So just checked and the weekly Github actions have been disabled over the offseason, Jimmy just needs to turn 'em back on and should be all good. Also probably not going to be checking twitter much going forward so if there's any other issues spotted can message on the other site
English

hey @jamesday87 @random_effects it seems player ID's haven't been generated for new players. R version 4.4.2 fitzRoy_1.6.0

English

@MatterOfStats @jamesday87 x-axis is using the cumulative 'periodSeconds' in the data. Buddy 1000 game below shows the part of the 4th quarter where everyone stormed the field, and the game was delayed for halfa

English

@MatterOfStats @jamesday87 Good question! Can’t actually remember now - let me check the code and get back to you.
Be a good thing to add to the vignette

Happy to share v1.6.0 of {fitzRoy} is now up on CRAN, which includes score worms! plussixoneblog.com/posts/2024-12-…

congrats to @IWCouncil for running the worst survey I've ever seen. "62% of respondents agree" yeah you've added up the first 4 response types together! There are 4 different choices for a positive response and only 1 for the negative!
