@GetOnTap I did some of my training at Orange Park. The trauma team is excellent, and the team in the ICU does a great job taking care of patients. From my experience, they genuinely care, she's in good hands.

Hey everyone, haven’t posted really anything in the last week or so, but have had some of you reach out so I wanted to drop a line. Last Thursday I got a call that my mom had been struck by a car while vacationing in Florida and had to be airlifted to a local trauma center. Jumped right in the truck and made the 8+ hour drive south, and have been here in the ICU ever since. She’s still in a coma, and has made some improvements over the last week so we’re still holding on. As many of you know the hardest of mountain men can still be mommas boys, so this has been a really difficult thing to deal with. I’m just trying my best at this point, but I appreciate all of the thoughts and prayers. They’ve set up a GoFundMe to help the family since we are all separated by three states so I’ll share in the comments. My step dad has helped a tremendous number of people over the years so if there is anything you are able to give I promise it’s going to someone who deserves it. Thank y’all for everything!
