@Mazapan404 @TylerGlaiel I think it's to represent Isaac's realization that his mom's abusive behavior isn't his fault, it was her mental issues being exacerbated by religious propaganda, and becoming empowered to defeat (his idea of) the monster his mom had become, allowing him to at least die in peace
