I am genuinely really really impressed with the Framework 13 Pro. I was unhappy with the old 13. Awful keyboard, trackpad, and display. New one is way better in all categories. Best PC trackpad I've used, awesome keyboard, no more display wobbling. Feels 10x more premium.

this guy owe an apology to every builder who spends their time helping strangers run models on their own hardware for free while he charge you for a api wrapper. the local model community debugs configs in comments and DMs for free. we share exact flags and tested benchmarks so people don't waste hours guessing. we approve members one by one to keep quality high. we help people get models running on their own hardware every single day. i personally helped dozens of people get local running on their GPUs this week alone. 0 charge. x/localllama just passed 5K members because people actually get help here.

@inkdrop_app I feel like this echos the “unity vs unreal” debate from the game dev community, in which people would hate on unity (Electron) because it was used for a lot of asset flip slop on Steam cos it was so easy (comparatively) to Unreal (UIKit/SwiftUI/GTK/Qt/WPF, etc)

I’m genuinely curious.. when I tell people at meetups that my app is built with Electron, they often immediately start criticizing it, saying things like “the memory usage is terrible.” But personally, I can’t really relate cuz I’ve never had any issues with memory. I guess they just parrot what they’ve heard on social media?

You know what, im kinda flip-flopping on my thinking around whether we need a new "super IDE" of the likes of @cursor_ai Glass, T3 Code, @OpenAI Codex etc. The taskbar is my project selector. I just have multiple versions of an IDE open at once. Each one has my agents, history, files, git tree and terminals no need to re-invent the wheel here. I think the only thing that is missing is to have these guys flash at me when an agent has finished working and wants to get my attention.

@GregorySchier @jafupy I’ve had some LSP refresh delay when using the in dev TSGo LSP in Zed but using VSTLS and typescript-language-server I haven’t ran into that personally. Maybe if you’re using that, that could be the cause? Otherwise I’m not sure

@jafupy - Language server errors do not seem to refresh sometimes - Language servers crash and never recover - My tasks spawn in the editor pane instead of terminal pane randomly - Autocomplete just stops working sometimes To name a few
