@SteveGelbs Breathtaking as in the immediate aftereffect of a punch to the gut

Whatever it is, it’s been breathtaking to watch.

What exactly is Chris Drury’s plan?

@drosennhl great meeting you today. I hope everyone makes it home safely,

@realEstateTrent Let's grab some pizza while you're down here! @Amarantes_Lies might actually eat with me if you're here.

@MarkAllenMulti Take your earnings and use it to pay down/off the loan. It’s a good way to lock in your winnings and rebalance the portfolio. There’s no telling what the market will do next year.

@alexisohanian @Mubadala Did your team suggest you wear a jacket again when you were there?

@realEstateTrent I’ve been hearing those complaints for the last 30+ years. Not that I disagree, it’s evergreen.

Also:
The number one complaint I hear from our retail tenants:
“It’s hard to find good people that want to work”
StripMallGuy@realEstateTrent
Wait is this a huge widespread problem in America right now? New grads stuck and can’t find jobs?

@financeguy725 Why a bank versus an RIA/wealth management firm?

How does this woman get $400,000 in credit extended to her?

@darrenrovell @united I should tell you about my 10+ hour trip home from PBI last week which included a nearly 4 hr drive home from IAD at 3 AM after being diverted

Heading to HOUR SIX of our @united delay at Newark. Scheduled to get into San Diego at 2:32 am.
Boarded plane at 9:15 pm. Pilot left for personal reasons. They’ve been looking for a replacement for two and half hours after saying someone would be here in a “few minutes.”

Maybe 10 years ago, I was asked by a friend if I could leverage my connections to introduce a proptech firm to a very large real estate investor where I happened to know the chief investment officer but, importantly, from which I did not get any business. I spoke with the proptech firm to understand their product - it was related to property management - and their pitch, and I made the introduction. I then joined the proptech firm at the real estate firm's office for the meeting I had helped them set up.
The investor's head of property management was at the meeting with the chief investment officer (my contact) and almost immediately let it be known that he had already spoken with the proptech guy for whom I did this favor, and also let it be known that he wasn't particularly happy that the proptech guy had tried to go over his head. Let's just say that I was even more displeased about this than the property management guy. At no time did the proptech guy tell me that they had already spoken with this firm and, in fact, they had made it seem that they had NOT spoken to the firm. They took advantage of my network, but put me in an awkward situation, and burned a bridge at the same time.
Fast forward to this morning, the founder of that proptech firm - who now seems to have another company - sent me a DM via LinkedIn asking to set up a conversation about his new company, but used a form message that made it seem like we had never spoken before. He might have a short memory - but I don't!
Not the right approach.

The view out my @NJTRANSIT train. Remember our news story? Windows are not that old — they are just damaged from the inside out — by the sun. Sigh. This is no job for @Windex and a squeegee.
English

@HowieRose While we’re at it, they should bring back the buzzer at the end of the period instead of that wimpy horn.
English

Here’s another one. Stop playing music immediately after the Rangers ALLOW a goal. Fans need to absorb their misery and suffer in silence. Not looking for a tune there. Some of the funniest sarcastic comments I ever heard came after the other team scored. It made MSG special.
Eric@HHMaverick
@HowieRose I love Sam, too...but IMO that's overkill. My "old man" view is - we should finally do away with the annoying goal horn. It was a LOT better when it was organic fan noise. (Some of my fondest memories are of the din of the old garden after a goal...no horn needed)
