@tomasmcguinness What did work in the end was soldering an off cut resistor leg to the pad on the esp, poking it through and soldering it.

@tomasmcguinness Oh OSH Park didn't mill out the edges of the vias either. When I did mine I just lined up a through-hole in the right spot and tried to flow solder down to the pads. It didn't work very well either.

Had a go at trying to sort the battery connection on this board. Not happening. Negative is fine, but the positive terminal isn’t making contact with the bottom of the board. These aren’t accessible to the amateur.

@SamCrossJourno I think that the pixel watch 2 deal on Amazon is the original Pixel Watch, not the 2. The product page doesn't say "2" anywhere on it except for a banner under "more from this brand"

@tomasmcguinness Is that microcontroller controlling the pump or sneaking off to something behind the pump?

I know this inline pump is shit and wrong, but I do need to get a handle on the best setting for it.

@timsweb @colourbyrogers The connector fits between the sensor terminal, though it’s tight. To be honest, I run them all on USB anyway. Haven’t had any joy on battery optimisations.

@tomasmcguinness @colourbyrogers You could still tweak the footprint for the battery connection, that was the wrong size iirc?

@colourbyrogers @timsweb I though my new 1% resistors wouldn’t fit as the first one I tried wouldn’t sit properly. I checked the spec of the resistors and they indicate they should fit, so I tried again. They do indeed seem to fit!
