6am gave the 50%extension box entry short and then a close inside of 6am with a retest of the highs entry and then it ran to tp for 2 winners and 2.6R here.

5am came 4ticks from tp and reversed. Personally if I took this. Would’ve took a partial win and or breakeven at worst and wouldn’t have let it reverse for a loss. I personally usually set tp 1-2 pts away to avoid these kind of nq reversals on the real trades personally.

6 months. 177 trades. I backtested my $GC Mean Reversion model. Jan–Jun 2025. Results:📈 +88R 59.9% win rate -7.5R Max DD The model itself is simple: 2:30am, 3:30am, 4:30am, 5:30am - Hourly Ranges - Price deviates beyond the range - 5m candle closes back inside - Limit order at the range high/low - Target 50% of the range - Fixed 1.5R For comparison, my $NQ backtest over the same period returned +67R. So $GC took the lead with +88R 🏆 I've attached the full breakdown if anyone wants to dive into the monthly, weekday and hourly stats. If there's enough interest, I'll post some of the highest expectancy setups from the backtest too. Magic Hours🔥
