Ogromny plus mieszkania w Polsce. Bary z domowymi obiadami. Normalne ceny, atmosfera jak z lat 2000. Jak mam czas to zawsze wybiorę to niż np. McDonalds… cenowo lepiej, porcja większa i dużo zdrowsze. Gdzie wady? #Polska

@dywidendowopl Polska kuchnia nie jest popularna w Azji i jest dosyć niszowa. Azjatycke jedzenie jest popularniejsze w PL, nie na odwrót. Mi tam wystarczy boiled chicken z ryżem i darmową zupą za 5-6zł i resztę dokładać do akcji. Swoją drogą cena żurku z ceną wody w PL wyjdzie tak samo tam.

@Mark_JSN @ekonomat_pl Oj bardzo, zimuje tu już trzeci rok i widzę coraz więcej Polaków czy innych społeczności z Europy mających też własne biznesy lub na emeryturze. Jeszcze 3 lata temu ciężko było dostac dobre pieczywo czy nabiał, teraz jest już to dostępne w wielu miejscach, a mówimy tu o tropikach

@Mark_JSN @ekonomat_pl Malezja, Wietnam, Tajlandia. Wietnam jest zdecydowanie najtańszy, ale Malezja i Tajlandia jest też do zrobienia przy małym budżecie poza turystycznymi hotspotami.

@denisyurchak Visit East/SE Asia and you will change your mind. You can buy everything there in 24/7 stores and it's much cheaper 2/3x than in Poland. I am not big fan of living in a country where 8 months are gray and cold as well, but yeah it's still doing better than some EU countries.

I love being in Poland because there is no deficit of capitalism here You want to buy something at 10 PM? There is a Zabka convenience store on every corner (some of them completely automatic; Poland has the biggest network of human-less stores in Europe) The cafes are full of people working on their laptops You hear folks discussing tech and products on videos calls (and nobody is trying to usher you out because you are not sitting with a book or a paper newspaper on Tuesday 11 AM like in Germany or Austria) When you look at the ads on the street, you actually see interesting creatives and products (unlike Vienna, where the subway, the most expensive place to advertise, is full of the ads of lawyers and dentists that look like are from the 80s). Of course, there is a lot of downsides to the Poland system too. The political system is quite broken, with two personalistic parties fighting for power (one slightly more corrupt than the other). There is a lot of anti-foreign sentiment, the country is visibly less international than Germany, Austria of France. Both parties push for stricter immigration rules, while you already wait on average 12 months to get you residence as a high-qualified worker And lately they had some of the protectionist mind virus developing as well, prohibiting trade on Sundays for example Overall tho, if you live in the Western Europe and forgot how good capitalism feels, Poland is an awesome country to come and remind yourself of it

Połowę tej kwoty spokojnie przepaliłbym siedząc w Polsce. ✈️ Koszty: – 90k total – 50k wydałbym i tak w PL – 20k transport (loty, promy, pociągi) 🍜 Styl życia: – jedzenie tylko na mieście przez 7 miesięcy – zero hosteli po 6 w pokoju - tylko hotele + 3 miesiące villa w Tajlandii – regularne prywatne treningi Muay Thai – zero stagnacji, tona doświadczeń 🌏 Trasa: Tajlandia (4 miesiące) – Phi Phi, Samui, Bangkok, Phuket Wietnam (ponad miesiąc) – Hoi An, Da Nang, Hanoi Filipiny (3 tyg) – Coron, El Nido, Moalboal Japonia (2 tyg) – Tokio, Fuji, Kioto, Osaka Korea (1 tydzień) – Seul, Busan Tajwan (5 dni) – Tajpej Malezja (4 dni) – Kuala Lumpur 🏆 Najlepsze miejsca pod życie / lock-in: – Tajlandia → jedzenie + ludzie – Wietnam → ceny + łatwość wjazdu na dłużej 🎸 Ciekawostka: Cały trip z gitarą. Były akcje na lotniskach, ale finalnie dużo łatwiej i taniej niż się spodziewałem. Najlepsze 90k, jakie wydałem w życiu. Nie trzeba dużo pieniędzy, po prostu trochę odwagi na przygody. @athcanft I did the same but live in serviced apartment with gym, swimming pool and sauna for 293$ a month though and city has access to the beach and better air quality. I invest everything.

@CleansedTweets you can live in chonburi for 500-700 usd and it's 40 min to bkk and has access to the beach, but then you have to stop being npc farang and use farang-oriented services, but it's good, it filters out randoms.

Influences on Insta saying you can live well in Thailand for $1000 a month are lying to you. You need 3x more (minimum) to live well. Thailand dwellers Agree?

@ThosMajor I eat boiled chicken with rice and egg and seaweed soup in ac room for 42-60 baht though. I don't have time for cooking, I prefer go to the gym every day.

@m_borzecki 2 Dania za 180 baht (20zł) czyli srednio danie za 10 zł. Trochę przepłaciłem, bo woda butelkowa kosztowała złotówkę, a czasem jest za darmo jak mentosiki.

13 euro za kawałek ciasta z kilkoma plastrami salami. Zwykła knajpa na wygwizdowie pod Bari. We Włoszech okradają ich gastrowieśniaki, a w Polsce żyjemy jak królowie (w tej cenie w stolicy mam dwa obiady dwudaniowe w barze mlecznym i jeszcze pani Jadzia leje kompot bez limitu).

@urbanrakas @Tom_Rowsell I live in areas that are around 1h from BKK, you can get 50-60 rice chicken with egg, free soup in some places. For more western like chicken shnitzel/steak you can get 75-85baht. I don't stay in BKK because this city is too busy, touristy, hot - there are some local areas though

This will be my Thailand thread. Bangkok has changed since last I was here. Many more Asian tourists relative to white ones. It’s less seedy and more developed. I guess sex tourists prefer other spots. Lots of Korean restaurants. Many more Indians here as well: tourists and immigrants. White tourists def the minority in central area this evening. Taxi drivers using Iran war as excuse to try and overcharge “fuel price too much”. Probably for the best but the fabled Bangkok of old seems dead.

@Top_Spud_ @sighyam It's hard to find anything from Europe in that pic, you can find japanese meiji brand that is cheap and you can get in any 7/11, meat is from Thailand, tuna, coconut milk and nuts are thai as well. Not a sane person buy protein pasta, bread or cookie(only eu products). Eat normal

If you move to Thailand, be prepared to spend the same amount on imported food or more especially if you enjoy good quality cheese and other dairy products, wine, beef, European ham, olive oil and western breakfast foods etc

@hispanicnomad @levelsio It's possible to live in Chonburi under 700$ (or even more), long term contract is like 270$ a month (comes with some gym, swimming pool, washing machine and 500mbps internet. Bills are usually 3$ for water and up to 40$ for electricity. I save more than 2x than living in Poland.
