@samstein That’s a big move. If the tariffs were ruled unconstitutional, it makes sense that states would push for some kind of restitution. But actually getting refunds approved and paid out is a whole other legal and political battle. This one’s probably far from over.

@samstein This rule actually gave @realDonaldTrump NORE options to impose tariffs while limiting he Democrats from wrongly using the IEEP Act in the future to declare some bogus national emergency and use it against us. IMHO, in the end, the SCOTUS ruling will net a much better result. 😊
