Through the #AccelerateProgram, with support from @PSKenya_ and @GVRC, our organisation delivers four impactful radio sessions every month, amplifying voices and sharing accurate, life-saving information on FP, SRHR, GBV, child protection, and harmful cultural practices.

#AccelerateProgram continues to strengthen maternal and newborn health systems through strategic support at county level. In Roysambu Sub-County, the program facilitated a Maternal and Perinatal Death Surveillance and Response (MPDSR) meeting focused on improving the quality of care. The session reinforced the importance of timely death audits with all maternal deaths required to be reported within 24 hours and audited within 72hours to drive accountability and inform actionable improvements. Participants also revisited critical Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) measures, including hand hygiene, PPE use, safe waste disposal, and sterilization protocols, all key to safeguarding mothers, newborns, and healthcare workers. Through its support for #MPDSR and IPC efforts, Accelerate is helping build a health system that responds with urgency, learns continuously, and prioritizes the safety of every mother and newborn. #MaternalHealth #NewbornCare #HealthSystemStrengthening #PSKenya
