@PythonMaps there are way more grasslands ins southern Brazil, the border between Uruguay and Rio Grande do Sul is in no way that sharp on grasslands. Below the 30° parallel, specially to the west there still many grasslands not converted to croplands.

@PythonMaps This map seems odd to me, because Uruguay is basically whole ehile neighboring countries Argentina and Brazil, who also have large stretches of the Pampas grassland vegetation, are cut right from the border. Either insuficient data on these countries or a difference in name?
