HOW DO YOU GROW IN INFOFI IF YOU DON’T HAVE 1K FOLLOWERS?
Right now I want to shed some light on a topic every small account eventually bumps into.
WHY AM I DOING EVERYTHING AND GETTING NOTHING BACK?

Get used to it for most InfoFi influencers, it’s way more profitable to reply to other influencers than to some unknown enthusiast like you.
Honestly, I’m getting sick of influencers dropping 5–10 posts a day about the same project, hoping to farm reach and climb the leaderboard.
I dug into 3–5 mid-size (2k–5k followers) InfoFi creators, and here’s what I got:
▫ Every post they make is whipped up by AI in a couple minutes.
▫ Zero real insight just dry scraps from the whitepaper.
▫ Four out of five won’t even reply to your comment, even if it genuinely stands out (while the rest post “oh yeah, amazing project, cool stuff”).
▫ At first they hooked readers with actual thoughts, but once the InfoFi narrative kicked in, they switched to soulless copy-paste and slight rewrites of the same text, farming views off an existing follower base.
▫ I even asked a couple of them questions tied to the technical side (like “are you sure it even works this way?” or “how exactly are they pulling this off?”) all I got was radio silence. Bro, it’s literally in the whitepaper you run through your AI 100 times a day.
Nonsense.
The algorithms still push their recycled posts simply because they already have activity momentum.
So what should small accounts do?
▸ Study the project and track every update.
▸ Come up with ideas no one has tried yet (my example: interviewing @wallchain influencers). It paid off not massively, but it did.
▸ If after 2–3 days of replies an influencer hasn’t responded even once, stop following them. Find real people who actually care about their reputation.
▸ If English isn’t your native language write all your posts YOURSELF in your native language, then translate them afterward with external tools (translators, AI).
▸ Even if your writing is messy or off-topic it’ll feel alive. Those are real thoughts. That’s what this space desperately lacks. Don’t pretend to be a couch expert who “knows everything” thanks to AI.
▸ Consistency. The most important part. Keep posting, keep looking for feedback. After a streak of failures, you’ll always find people who vibe with what you do.
▸ Small accounts get shadowbanned more often, so ramp up slowly:
Week 1 — daily:
• 1–2 follows
• 1 post
Week 2 — daily:
• 2–3 follows
• 1–2 posts
▸ If you just got out of a shadowban, let the account rest a few days and cut all activity 2–3x (like 3 replies a day, etc.).
▸ Stick to your lane. If you’re gonna write the same “oh yeah, cool project, amazing stuff” as everyone else — you’ll get nothing out of it. Even without replies, don’t get upset. Stay a human with your own thoughts and ideas.
This was a scream from the heart.
Stay real sooner or later you’ll find people who support your content and become part of your foundation.
And if there’s no one yet, walk alone for now, but stay HUMAN.
Real influencers, call me out if I’m wrong
