NIGHTMARE GPS STORY: So I'm driving to meet my sister at her nursing home where she is convalescing in the mountains of West Virginia. I'm following my GPS and it tells me to turn down this gravel road. I figure ok, this is probably only a hundred feet or so. No, it was 30 miles of gravel, potholes coal dust and dodging massive coal trucks passing the opposite direction. Damn you GPS! My brand new car driving through HELL for 30 miles. I haven't tried to wash the car yet so I'm hoping there are no big scratches. What a nightmare! Has a GPS ever led you astray?

@mitchellvii I recommend the care facility. My husband went to a rehabilitation center for two weeks after his surgery. They were fantastic and he did great. Check them out, though. There were some I knew I didn’t want him to go to, but we were blessed that our top choice had availability.

SISTER HEALTH UPDATE: Sister is doing better and about to be released from the hospital. Turns out she also had 4 minor strokes. They are either going to send her home or to a senior care facility where they can more easily do physical therapy. Care facility likely better.

@Jack_Hammer15 I dreaded and put off getting the Shingles vaccine for a long time. No good reason why. Finally got it about 3 years ago and nothing to it. I had a sore arm after the second one, but that’s it. Now, the RSV vaccine was a different story.

Had my second shingles vaccine yesterday & it’s kicking my a$$…is that normal 😩

This woman lives on a culdesac where there are seven houses. Six of the seven neighbors are close and all their kids play outside together. The one neighbor can’t stand it. So, the rest of them decided to buy a basketball hoop and put it in the street to give the kids even more to do. 😂 I love seeing kids outside playing in my neighborhood. Would this bother you if every day you came home there were kids playing outside on your street?
