@NoushardMUFC Lack doesn't win you the amount of games Carrick has won already Th thing is, Carrick's tactics are poor and he isn't the man, let's not downplay his contributions to mere luck

Time for the real questions about Michael Carrick and Manchester United going forward: 1. When results inevitably dip, are we going to act surprised—or admit we saw the warning signs early? 2. If player chemistry is lacking and defensive gaps keep appearing, how much of this is coaching structure rather than individual errors? 3. We are not going to keep relying on luck. When that stops, what is the actual plan? 4. Counter-attacks won’t always work against low blocks. What is the alternative attacking system? 5. If INEOS and the Glazers fail to deliver top-level signings, can Carrick realistically compete across 4 competitions with a thin squad? 6. Carrick rarely rotates or experiments with formations. In long seasons, doesn’t this make the team predictable and easier to prepare against? 7. Does he have the tactical flexibility to change games in real time when a match plan is clearly not working? 8. Has he shown enough top-level managerial experience to manage pressure moments at a club where margins decide everything?

Data comparing style of play of; • Manchester United • PSG • Manchester City It’s shows that Manchester United are a counterattacking team. PSG plays possession dominant style of football in attack, pressing, etc. Manchester City also plays only possession based football. (Liverpool, Bayern and Manchester United are teams that’s play/lean heavy on counter attacking football)

This fanbase picks narratives depending on the argument they want to win. Yes — we were 3 points off 4th. Yes — we were 4 points off 12th. But watch how the conversation shifts. “If we lost one more game, we could’ve been 12th.” Cool. Then say the other side with the same energy: “If we won one more game, we could’ve been 4th.” You don’t get to highlight the downside and ignore the upside. That’s not analysis that’s bias dressed up as logic. As for Amorim? Fine. I’ll say it plainly: he wasn’t good enough. But here’s the part people don’t want to hear. Carrick isn’t either. Better results don’t automatically mean better structure. You can already see the cracks: open defenses, shaky control, moments of chaos that better teams will punish without mercy. This isn’t about sentiment. It’s about standards. Manchester United doesn’t need “steady.” It doesn’t need “good enough for now.” It needs a manager who can compete, seriously compete — for the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, and Carabao Cup at the same time. Carrick isn’t that guy….

If you tell me that Ruben Amorim lost the final to a terrible spurs…I’d tell you that Michael Carrick won a terrible Manchester City because even Bodo Glimt won City the next match. Ruben Amorim lost a final? I would take that too, after all Sir Alex lost finals too.

@WelBeast No need for rankings. Martinelli, Gyokeres, Saka. That is a front 3 that terrifies any defense in Europe. Pace on the left, power through the middle, magic on the right. They press, they score, they create. Arsenal’s frontline is that guy. Simple. 🔴⚪

Wolves had Vitinha on the bench while playing Dendoncker in the double pivot for physical presence. It tells you all you need to know about English club's overreliance on athleticism and “mechanics,” often at the expense of technical quality, control, and progression in midfield.

@256bigdaddy @Cantonadevils instead go 5-2 up and win the game 5-4 cause they have no defensive shape. There is nothing wrong sitting back and holding a 3 goal lead especially when you have to go back and play the second leg in bayern rn its basically just 1-0 psg and hope they can be clinical in germany.

Remember when Luis Enrique came in and signed almost 11 new players, moving on many others? Can Manchester United even buy six players let alone let 10 players leave the club?

@RashBandicootIV Diamonde doesnt have elite potential. The best Diamonde can ever be..IF he works really hard is to be a Semenyo. He doesnt have elite skills 1v1..all he does is run fast and use both feet. Diamonde is Barcola/Rashford. They aint elite....good squad players..not elite

Suddenly no Manchester United fan remembered the goosebumps this match gave them 😂 Ruben Amorim hated Kobbie Mainoo and never played him but that was Mainoo in the score line. 😂 Let’s keep pretending like Ruben Amorim was the worst manager in the world with no tactics. Tell Michael Carrick I said he should score 5 goals in a match at OT…I’m waiting.

Yan Diomande is nowhere near the level of left wingers like Ndiaye & Khvicha Kvaratskhelia if we’re talking top-tier quality. A lot of fans pushing his name aren’t doing it for the right reasons. He simply isn’t technical enough at the level we’re trying to compete at. Some support seems driven more by where he’s from (Africa) than what he actually offers on the pitch. At the end of the day, recruitment should be about quality, not geography. We need the best players available not selections based on sentiment

@UnitedStandMUFC Compared to the quality & price of the other CM options available to us & their infinitely better form ALL season, £70M for Baleba is @ManUtd getting their pants pulled down again for a player with a highly suspect mentality no other top club would touch! He’s worth £40M MAX atm!
