@TokenOfTheMonth I served my mission in Memphis / Little Rock. Was shot at in Frayser, my comp was hit in the head with the butt of a gun in west memphis. Kept watch over a kid who had a hit put on him over a fight at a basketball game in O mound.

Mission trip christians are so funny to me like Jesus always takes them to Costa Rica or Panama or Amazonas but never like East St Louis or West Memphis

@DrakeFantasy I was able to take my son to watch one of the best basketball players to ever rep the Y. Whatever they paid him, I'm glad they did.

BYU paid $7 million to AJ Dybantsa. He led the nation in scoring. Cool. They finished 10th in the Big 12 and were a 6-seed in the NCAA Tournament after losing a key guard to injury. They lost to an 11-seed Texas team that finished 10th in the SEC. Is that NIL $ well spent?

@FiredUpCoug BYU fan, and believe AJ is the better player. But I am fine with Bradley winning player of the year. I personally think we too often under value winning in personal awards.

My sacrifice to go on a mission included some baseball scholarships and a girl. I went. I came home worthily and early with illness. It was rough, but my time counted the same as anyone else’s. Elder Lyons sacrifice to go on a mission includes a million scholarships, probably close to 10 million dollars, and 100 million girls. I’m so grateful he’s willing to serve. I’m so grateful the church made his decision to go possible. For the critical RM’s: Ryder is sacrificing more than 99.99% of you will have in a lifetime.
