The following day, she was found brutally tortured and unconscious about three kilometres from the club where the birthday party had taken place, she had a deep cut on the head and lower abdomen. Both her arms were also broken. CCTV footage showed Mercy enjoying time with her friends at the club before one of them is seen leaving and boarding an Uber, leaving her behind. She is later seen trying to convince a boda boda rider to take her home, but they failed to agree on the fare. The rider is then seen picking up another customer, leaving Mercy behind. No one knows what happened in btw untill she was found the next day tortured and unconscious where she was taken to hospital and has been in the ICU since then untill juzi when she passed on. The family is seeking justice.
