@Leonizm351 Whoever came up with the phrase “Golden Years” must have been a young person. There is nothing “Golden” about old age. Everything aches and hurts. Your memories begin to fade. Your strength quickly ebbs away and most of us tend to look back at our mistakes, not our successes.

The NYPD mourns the loss of Police Officer Sorffly Davius, who passed away yesterday as a result of a medical episode while deployed to Kuwait in support of Operation Epic Fury. Officer Davius served in the 42nd Infantry Division in the U.S. Army National Guard and rose to the rank of Major. In 2014, he began his service with the NYPD where he was assigned to the 79th Precinct. Today, and always, we keep his family in our thoughts and prayers. May we never forget Officer Davius’ sacrifice and may his memory be a blessing.

I’ve been on X since 2011, and only have 211 followers but I have to share that my darling, bad ass, biker, husband of 45 years passed away last Sat from cancer. Diagnosed to death in a month, I’m heart broken. Our only son died 10 years ago, I feel so alone now. What now??

I dislike sharing this, but my life is changing quickly. I started bleeding internally a few days ago following a minor heart procedure, and they found that I have esophageal cancer. The chemotherapy is especially tough. I’ve been in poor health since 2022, also being treated for low-grade bone marrow cancer, heart failure, and other health issues. I probably won’t be posting as often. I’m copying a friend or two in the smaller groups I participate in. I’m in excellent spirits, just exhausted. Remember, God is good!

There has to be more of you than the couple hundred that always engage with my posts.

NO ROOM AT THE INN! @HiltonHotels has launched a coordinated campaign in Minneapolis to REFUSE service to DHS law enforcement. When officers attempted to book rooms using official government emails and rates, Hilton Hotels maliciously CANCELLED their reservations. This is UNACCEPTABLE. Why is Hilton Hotels siding with murderers and rapists to deliberately undermine and impede DHS law enforcement from their mission to enforce our nation’s immigration laws?
