MOANA live-action remake, starring Dwayne Johnson, has had a terrible start in pre-sales. Costing $200M+, it might be a surprising bomb this summer. Its release date, too close to TOY STORY and MINIONS, isn't doing it any favors.

Spielberg has disclosed to us one of the year’s worst.
The unintentional comedy and lack of internal logic would make you think Shyamalan directed this.
Bad CGI. Poor characters. Nonsensical themes. Wet fart ending. It’s got it all!

Thursday will be fascinating because the marketing for DISCLOSURE DAY (so far) hasn’t been amazing.
Regardless, the early word on this seems to be that it’s quite good with Emily Blunt apparently giving one of her best performances ever.

my immediate takeaway from Disclosure Day is that it’s in more interesting and direct conversation with Minority Report and The Fabelmans than it is with Close Encounters of the Third Kind. and also that Emily Blunt is very good at acting. two takeaways I guess.
