Today, the Executive Director @Knooliet and Chairperson, Mr. Muramira Bernard of @RwandaNGOForum, were honoured to attend an informative CSO-@RwandaLocalGov engagement meeting. We extend our sincere appreciation to @RwandaLocalGov for establishing and opening a platform for dialogue with Civil Society Organizations (#CSOs). Such collaborative spaces are fundamental to fostering inclusive and effective governance 👏👏 This engagement marks a significant step toward more effective collaboration, strengthening #Rwanda’s development agenda, including the National Strategy for Transformation (#NST2) and the #2063Agenda. Together in the dialogue: ⏩ We explored concrete approaches for joint planning and resource allocation, improved coordination, monitoring, and reporting mechanisms at all levels, and agreed on strategies to empower and engage communities as leaders in their own transformation. ⏩ The meeting discussed the actionable joint actions to accelerate progress on the country’s priorities, strengthen community voices, and ensure effective service delivery. ⏩ All partners acknowledged that such inclusive spaces build trust, enhance accountability, and make development truly sustainable — because when communities own the process, impact lasts! ⏩ A key outcome from the dialogue was the commitment that this forum (CSO-@RwandaLocalGov engagement meeting) will be held twice a year to review previous commitments, measure progress, and set priorities for the next six months.
