@agrobaz The ability to export in containers has dramatically reduce to Egypt over the last few years, ABS data Australia exported 25km from Nov21 to May-22 to Egypt, Lupins are a snack food so not a dietary requirement and their Govnt has reduced USD access for Lupins, so buys can’t buy.

@AdamRGT I’d be interested in the numbers exported since Covid? I’m assuming the low prices are more driven by our inability/inadequacy of being able to export at a competitive freight price in aus? Happy to be corrected.

The US corn market this year had some of the worst weather we have seen in years during the growing season. Yet we are close to a record yield do to seed genetics. Australia weather headlines about quality of wheat from rains is just another one of these crops can’t be killled

@RichieQuigley Once its visibly shot you don’t see a lot of movement, but from 250fn above you could see some change, below 150fn you won’t get enough change to go from fed1 to AGP1 – but never blend with better grain, you’ll just bring your higher falling numbers grain down to the lowest level

#Turkey has dropped its pulse #import tariff from 19.3% to 0% until the end of the year after a downturn in production. Amidst other commodities the reduction applies to chickpeas and #lentils and will be supportive Aussie prices.
