@Matt_Pinner I would welcome her. Remember what we all did and dressed when we came to Jesus? This woman might have just started her Christian walk.
English

@TheePopCore If she’s not proud to represent her country then why did she compete for the US? Someone who has that strong stance against their nation should not compete
English

Team USA figure skater Amber Glenn says she will not be accepting the White House invitation:
“I’m electing not to either, so I do not blame them whatsoever. It is our right to be able to choose what we do and don’t endorse, and I think it is a decision that each individual has the right to make.”

English

@fs_gossips I still think she should have won gold in 2018. She’s my all time favorite Russian skater
English

Evgenia Medvedeva: “After a practice where I either slacked off or didn’t train well, my mom sat me down and said: ‘In small families like ours, it’s always important that everyone has their own role. Your job is your figure skating.”

@fs_gossips He absolutely deserved the gold medal with his free skate. I only wish Denis Ten could see Misha’s success.
English

Mikhail Shaidorov: “Some years were very hard – we didn’t have enough money. My dad sold his car to fund my trainings and Alexei Urmanov coached me for free, without a salary, purely out of enthusiasm.”

@fs_gossips Before she becomes Kaori the coach, I think she’s going to be Kaori the star of many ice shows. She’s one of the best!
English

Kaori Sakamoto: “Honestly, this result is disappointing. But coach Nakano told me, ‘Since you earned a silver, now it’s your turn to train an Olympic gold medalist.’ Maybe one day I’ll show up at the Games again, this time as a coach.”

@johnpelwood I think Alysa is going to bring a resurgence of interest in figuring skating. She has every makings of a star. Her career is about to really take off!
English

@ScottHamilton84 Tara called it at nationals! Tara said, and I quote “I think she’s going to win the Olympics.” Her comeback is absolutely unreal!! I’m just so happy!!!
English

@GadSaad How is this functionally distinct from: 1. Christian church bells broadcast; 2. Jewish Barechu call to prayer, and Shofar horns broadcast from synagogue speakers in Orthodox neighborhoods, especially amongst Queens/Brooklyn Hasidim; 3. Hindu Trisandhya in Indian neighborhoods?
English

I warned you repeatedly that this was coming. You ignored my warnings.
Vivid.🇮🇱@VividProwess
Residents in this area of Manhattan, New York, are completely shocked to hear an Islamic call to prayer blasting on high-volume speakers as they walk down the street. "I never thought in my life I'd hear this in the middle of New York." Unbelievable.
English

NYC FALLS: Adhan Blasts Through Streets – Zohran Mamdani’s Sharia Dawn is Here!
(TURN YOUR VOLUME UP)
My lord, America – the conquest we’ve warned about is exploding now. The Adhan isn’t a “beautiful call to prayer”; it’s a militant declaration: “Allahu Akbar” (Allah is greater than your gods, laws, freedoms), “There is no god but Allah” (all other faiths are false).
Blared 5× daily from loudspeakers – 5 AM wake-ups included – it’s forced submission on non-Muslims, pure civilizational jihad straight from the Muslim Brotherhood playbook.
THIS IS NOT NORMAL – but they’re aggressively normalizing it.
In Astoria, Brooklyn, Manhattan residents are horrified: Noise complaints flood in, yet the broadcasts grow louder and more frequent.
It began under Adams in 2023 (permit-free Fridays & Ramadan), but Mamdani’s regime has supercharged it – daily calls spreading unchecked in Muslim-heavy areas.
In Islam, there is no reciprocity: Try church bells or hymns in Mecca – arrested. Yet in 9/11-scarred NYC, we submit.
This is noise pollution masking conquest – normalizing Islamic dominance, eroding our culture, testing tolerance until it breaks.
Leftists call it “progress”; it’s the internal-external war: parallel societies (women-only cafes, halal zones) + penetration (crescent lightings, Adhan blasts).
DE-ISLAMIZE AMERICA - WE ARE FALLING!
English

@SiliconSeductio @cbrennansports Brian Boitano talked about how he and his coach created a “bubble” at competitions. One thing that should change is the athletes shouldn’t be interviewed until after they skate. None of this “We caught so and so just as they arrived at the arena.”
English

Having watched this all with great interest (and I think Ilia is a once-in-a-generation talent), I am stunned that athletes access social media during the Olympics. I realize they are adults, mostly, and GenZ digital natives. I am not advocating taking away their rights. But if I were managing someone with that kind of talent, I would urge them to put a social media bubble around themselves for the duration of the Games. Many in this world despise beautiful things and that toxic sludge of hate and envy would rattle anyone, let alone someone young, performing at that level.
English

@mfgus @fs_gossips @adivinesport I agree with just sticking with Raf as primary coach. It might help Ilia to kind of leave the nest and provide a positive change of environment.
English

@fs_gossips @adivinesport Change #1: get rid of Ari. He’s not helping.
#2: go to Raf as primary, parents secondary if at all. He’s 21. He needs space and to not have the burden of parent expectations as coaches.
English

Rafael Arutyunyan: “Ilia is not to blame, and I have already told him this. The fault lies with us, the adults, who failed to protect a young athlete from making wrong decisions.”

@Olympics @ISU_Figure They had the skate of their life when it mattered and they made history for Japan. I’m so proud of them! ⛸️🇯🇵
English

Another moment for the history books! 🇯🇵
What an incredible achievement for Team Japan's first-ever pair skating gold medallists. 🥇

@fs_gossips Yuma is such a sweetheart. I know he too wanted a better performance but he’s always going to be one of my favorites. He’s a spectacular skater!
English

Yuma Kagiyama on Ilia Malinin:
“It was surprising and rare, something unexpected for sure. But considering how tightly packed his schedule was - skating in the team event's short and free programs, as well as the individual event's short and free programs - it’s impressive that he persevered. He carried immeasurable pressure, with the entire world expecting him to take the gold medal. I can’t even begin to imagine what kind of tension he felt. I think he must feel deeply disappointed right now, but for someone competing in his first Olympics and skating four routines, I really admire what he achieved.”

@cbrennansports NBC fired Gabby over the book. WHY do they keep bringing it up???
English

NBC fired Olympic gold medalist Gabriella Papadakis after her ground-breaking book “To Not Disappear” was published. Today she appears on a special edition of Milan Magic. This is one of the most important interviews I’ve ever done at the Olympics. youtube.com/watch?v=w5Q2TS…
