For what it’s worth, I’m hearing Calhoun is extremely upset that the news was leaked before he had a chance to meet with the team in Logan.

Really disappointing that he wasn’t transparent with the team, especially after the way Sprinkle left.

I’m told that Calhoun did not address the team this morning in San Diego but that everyone found out as the plane touched down in Ogden and phones got turned back on. I’m also told that a team meeting has been called when the team gets back to Logan.

Man I feel bad for Aggie fans. Calhoun felt like the chosen one but bad timing his alma mater opened up. However if there was a fan base and program uniquely built to deal with this and be just fine and hire another great coach it is Utah State.

@AggieFiringLine @brigs_175 @Pac12Central 7/9 tournament appearances in the Dutch era should’ve been in this year too. 10 of the last 15 years. We were a number 2 seed when the tournament got cancelled for covid.

@PROvoHoopsHype @byufan1984 For sure, no one is likely to change their minds on it. And we're all biased towards our team. Which team is better? No one will know because it's all hypothetical. Which team was more successful? That was USU and that shouldn't be up for debate.

@MarceloM0908 @byufan1984 Our NET was better than the majority of the big 12 all season and that was with very limited opportunities for Q1 games and 20% of the finances.

@AggieFiringLine @byufan1984 BYU also finished 10th and played Arizona twice and their combined margin of victory was still lower than vs Utah state🤷♂️ Utah state finishes outside the top 10 in the big 12 this year. But they’re a solid team for the resources they have

My super strong parenting opinion is that while the kids are awake, you come last.
No spending all of Saturday golfing. That’s family time. 6 am tee time only, maybe.
Wanna go to the gym? Go after the kids go to bed, or wake up at 5.
In a few short years, they’ll be out of the house and you’ll have all the time in the world for your own stuff. It’s okay to come last for a while.
