Amazing that @Meetup could be so scammy. They advertise $35 a month "for up to 3 groups" & after you create groups you find out it's $35 per group. You have to manually request to end your subscription, which they will ignore for weeks while still trying to charge you.

There are no teams & there are no good guys. The US govt is also neither on your team nor a force for good. Stop supporting war. Stop using money a govt can devalue to pay for horrible things in your name.

This was probably my most mind-blowing moment in learning bitcoin. All the addresses and private keys already exist and you can find a pair offline and just send bitcoin to the address without anyone or anything in the network ever knowing your private key.

The continual debasement of fiat currency mixed with planned obsolescence has turned once luxury items into plastic filled junk. Luxury is now an illusion.
