@ScottyMcCreery So sorry to hear Scotty. I also lost grandparents in short time- my paternal grandmother and my maternal grandfather on the same day, and my maternal great grand father two days later. However I am so thankful to be blessed with the time we shared. Passing some of that on.

Both of them truly taught me what love is all about. I will miss them dearly. If yall could keep my family in your prayers I’d appreciate it.

My heart is absolutely broken. Yesterday, both my Grandma Janet and my Grandma Paquita passed away. I think I am still in a bit of shock as I type this, but I’m choosing to remember the great memories we all made with both of them. [1/3]

Speaking of residue, wheat after soybean is recommended to reduce wheat head scab risk. But corn residue can stick around and I’ve always wondered how much this old corn contributes to scab risk.

Our yield trials are off to a good start. Some non-uniform emergence in some trials due to heavier residue in spots + dry conditions after planting. We all know variation in soil fertility is a key cause of error in trials, but I think variation in residue is another big one.
