Does Iowa's success vault Ben McCollum to the top of North Carolina's wish list?

@JCHawks_BBN That's an average score of 100-78.7 So the 21-point loss to Arizona was actually a slight improvement!

Arkansas played 3 of the 4 one seeds this season in Duke, Florida, and Arizona They lost by a combined score of 300-236

@mtwentyy They can build whatever type of roster they choose to prioritize. You'll never have exactly the same collection of guys, and Burries and Peat do seem uniquely mature and poised for freshmen, but if Tommy leaves UA he'll bring his philosophy with him. I'm just praying he stays.

No matter what happens with Tommy, UNC and KU will never have this Arizona roster

@UnbiasedBrim1 And that makes it harder to win every year as more and more talented guys are staying in college 3-5 yrs, HS recruiting alone isn't enough to guarantee a top 5 squad. I don't know if Cal minds though. I think that's why his alums adore him. He's genuinely all about his players.

@UnbiasedBrim1 I think they definitely can. Cal has had teams like that before, esp in 2012 with AD, MKG; & the 2015 superteam. IDK if Cal will ever prioritize transfers though. I believe he cares more about mentoring young men than just winning, so the jrs and srs aren't his priority.

@UnbiasedBrim1 Kharchenkov too. When Tommy was looking for a SF this off-season to replace Carter Bryant, many fans presumed it would be a classic 3-and-D. Ivan's shooting is just OK, but he's a strong finisher for that position (obv defense was key also). But you get what you prioritize. (4)

@UnbiasedBrim1 Even the move for Burries over Alijah Arenas, who ended up at USC, bothered a lot of AZ fans at the time b/c Arenas's dad is an Arizona legend. But Burries gets downhill into the lane, and when he shoots J's they're controlled. Arenas is more athletic but he's a fadeaway guy. (3)

@jasonscheer I think that benefits Arizona. The interior finishing and midrange will be helped more by soft rims than the 3s will, and Az obviously shoots more 2s and fewer 3s than Ark. It really stuck out to me in the 1st round that the rims were unforgiving and it seems to hurt the 'Cats.

Early observation: These are the softest rims in basketball history.

Breaking News Florida Hulk showed up for the Sweet 16 even though Florida was bounced. Dedication to ball or too much faith in his team and non refundable travel plans?

@jasonscheer Kipp has seemed like the second worst ref for Arizona that I've seen this worse, but he's still not in the same class with Padilla. So I suppose I can't complain too much.

Kip Kissinger, Lee Cassell, Steve Anderson are the refs. Kissinger has done multiple Arizona games, including the Big 12 title game. Cassell did Arizona at Baylor. Anderson did Arizona against SDSU

@brycejallday "Big Pig Aidsap" is not a journalist, sweetheart. Just block and report. Whether Lloyd will end up at UNC I can't tell you, but he won't be disrespecting his players like that on the biggest game day of the year. If he did, it'd be a red flag for future employers anyway.

@JustFly_Jones @ironmikeluke But you're right it would be expensive for them. Time will tell. I hope he stays. More importantly, I hope this isn't a distraction for the team today. His answer yesterday about not being easily distracted if anything seemed to me to make that worse bc he didn't shut it down.😬

@AlanChess4 @ironmikeluke Vegas odds, always change. Is UNC ready to buyout HD and Tommy’s contacts and still have enough to fund a team for next season? Unlikely.

I would be pretty surprised if Tommy Lloyd isn’t the coach at Arizona next season. Some common sense things have to happen but I don’t believe he has any real desire to leave #BacktheA

@JustFly_Jones @ironmikeluke You can look at the Kalshi history, it was never that high. At 11 AM AZ time yesterday (he posted 11:22) it was 9.6%. It was shortly after his post that it started climbing. It peaked at 30.5% about 7pm AZ time y'day. Now 24.7%.

@Darth__Devil I see you scrubbed your Twitter of Tommy Lloyd posts and changed your name from "@AlexRiveraCBB, UNC alum" to "Darth Devil." You don't suppose below fake post that says Lloyd to UNC was 57% could be an issue since it was below 13%? People might bet on that info?
