Does the Three Wise Monkeys wall have auto belays?? @AlanHalewood anyone know??
English

@ScotRail So ive arranged transport to Fort William when i could have taken the train from my front door and ive paid for a bus ticket for my retirn journey in case the app is accurate and my booked train for tomorrow is cancelled.
English

@ScotRail Im sorry but they are not updated correctly at all. The west highland service to Ggow from Mallaig did go from Mallaig not Ft William. We did not get a bus from Crianlairich although at 2 minutes notice we had to change to the Oban train. V hard to plan without accurate info.
English

@jamesthacker Just need to actually release them now! And what's with those tights? Is it the '80s again?!? :-)

@natalie_a_berry Huge congrats Nat. And such a cool place. My wife proposed to me after we abseiled off after she’d led her first Grade V winter route, the second ascent of a new route done the day before. Glad yours will be equally memorable. All the best for you both in the future.

@AlanHalewood from Climb When You're Ready and Calum and Robert from @Climb_scotland delivered CWI Training last weekend and some of our staff and volunteers attended, thank you for this opportunity 🙏

@Lakes_Lina There is signage (you have to look a bit to find it) asking you to use the Ringo app to pay either a 1 hr (£1) or 1 day charge (£3). No overnight parking (but that doesn’t work with folk up at the CIC). Many aren’t seeing signage or are ignoring.

@theiaincameron @BBCWthrWatchers Is that the summit trig shattered? That must have been scary for anyone there at the time.
English

Well, at least we know where it was exactly on Ben Nevis that lightning struck yesterday, as shown in the @BBCWthrWatchers photo. A video from mountain guide Rich Pyne from Nevis summit at lunchtime. Extraordinary.

@MtnAssurance @ArcGuiding @BBCRadio4 Exactly, if our gut is wrong and we let it tell us to back off we win either way. If our gut is wrong and we let it tell us to go ahead you risk an incident. So only use it to say "no go"? RP DM needs lots of experience+quality feedback/reflection/understanding and awareness.
English

@ArcGuiding @BBCRadio4 … decision making better than that. If we can’t explain it, or “audit it” then how can be train it? 🧐
English

Delivering avalanche education recently, and this got me thinking about the basis for the 'gut instinct' we advise mountaineers/skiers to listen to in avalanche terrain

@lakapajama Always better to walk away when conditions aren’t right. We were lucky with a lovely day.
English

@AlanHalewood I failed this in 40 mile gusts with my 12 year old on her second Munro. Gives me the heebie jeebies to see it in snow AND wind! Climb safe! X
