May is National Bicycle Safety Awareness Month and we’re so exited to be outside gathering for events with our community! Today we joined @AlbanyPAL for their bicycle rodeo at the @AlbanyJCC. Many kids came out to enjoy free food, ice cream, activities and the bike course.

One of my favorite assignments was being a bicycle patrol officer and engaging with the community. This morning I attended the @AlbanyPAL bicycle rodeo at the @AlbanyJCC and had a blast on the skills course with the kids.

When an 8th grader experiencing some serious health issues was unable to see the annual Christmas tree lighting this year, APD's school resource officers, @albanyschools, the PTA and @AlbanyPAL ensured Maliah Jackson had a very special night. More - bit.ly/37WgYsb

Our school resource officers remain committed to working with @albanyschools to ensure our kids have the support and resources they need. This includes nutritious meals which officers have been personally delivering to kids studying from home. #Albany
