Hey everyone! I just wanted to say how incredible this journey here has been over the past 12 years, when I started sharing and creating Python, ML, and AI content. The positive feedback I’ve received from you all has been such a powerful motivator. I had some exciting plans lined up for the coming weeks, including a comprehensive yearly review and outlook of AI research. Unfortunately, I suffered a serious injury that’s made it impossible for me to use a computer for the last few weeks. Unfortunately, I’ll need to take a break from content creation while I focus on recovery. But no worries, I’m optimistic about making a full recovery and can’t wait to get back to creating and sharing more AI research content in the future. Thank you for your understanding and support over the years!

This is an important point. People who are pro-unrealized-gains *literally don't understand* how stock prices work That selling 10% of the overall float would crash a company's market cap, causing global wealth to crash, and rendering a great many people in the economy insolvent

@bindureddy I think it’s neither. Compare it to learning how to code for example. Lots of great programmers only learned in college or on the job. They didn’t start when they were teenagers. My advice to teenagers is to focus on learning how to learn. Then they can learn LLMs quickly later.

When I talk to a teenager who doesn't use LLMs, I politely tell them that they are going to be obsolete in the future Am I being rude or giving them good advice?

One of the most advertised use cases for LLM-based productivity tools such as Copilot in enterprise applications is that you can write a short prompt and the tool will generate a draft of a document based on this prompt. If you have a short version that you can share, WHY THE HELL YOU NEED A LONG ONE?

People wonder why women get discouraged from working in tech. They will be having fun, sharing projects that they’re doing in their free time, and a doctoral researcher will let them know that they hypothetically wouldn’t hire her if they hypothetically could hire people because she is doing the project too slowly…even though she didn’t state how long the project would take her and isn’t looking for a job. Women really can’t exist in this space in peace without legitimate people in the field trying to undermine them out of nowhere.
