Maresca and Amorim both got sacked in GW19. Chelsea were above Man Utd on goal difference at the time. Man Utd finished the season 19 points ahead of Chelsea. Crazy how much a manager can change a teams season.

Last season Man Utd were ranked 17th for goals scored in the league. This season Man Utd have scored the third most amount of goals. Since Carrick was appointed no team has scored more goals than #mufc Shows what happens when you get recruitment right! Premier League winners Arsenal have only recorded one more goal than Man Utd this summer!

Full time review: - Bruno proves why he’s POTS! - Maguire x Martinez excellent at the back. - Dorgu, Amad & Mbeumo all contributing to the goals. - Great attacking football. - Nice to see Lacey, Malacia and Fletcher get mins. - Mount had a tidy game. Would like to have seen heaven get mins but can’t complain. Since Carrick has come in no team has picked up more points or scored more goals than Man Utd!
